Marit Rehavi is an Assistant Professor at the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia. She is also a fellow of the Institutions, Organization and Growth group at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research and a data science advisor forProPublica.


Prior to arriving at UBC, she was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of Michigan and received her PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Dr. Rehavi's research explores the factors that influence expert decisions in medicine, politics and law. Her research is currently funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
